Isn’t it funny the way life sometimes makes us forget how far we have come and something happens or someone says something and we remember? Sat at home listening to my Spiritual Father, Prophet Uebert Angel’s message (Left Behind – Part 1) and at around 1:07:09 of the message he is talking about the story of a lady that wanted to see him but missed him because he had travelled. When she finally was able to get in touch, Prophet decided to go earlier than expected and instructed her to stay and wait although she had booked a flight and she decides to wait. The flight she was to get on crashed and everyone except a baby died on the airline and he expatiated on the Simple Leadings of the Spirit. And just right there the Holy Spirit reminded me of how at 27 years of age, I have escaped two different bomb attacks at different times and He said, write your story and share with someone.
The first one I escaped was the 2011 Abuja bombing at the United Nations building which occurred on August 26th, 2011. My family and I use the United Nations Clinic and a week prior to that I went to the hospital for a reason I cannot remember. Afterwards, I went back to Uni and a week into my resumption I heard that a bomb was set off in the UN Building. It is sad people died but I was spared. Whilst writing this, I was led to check the date I had the first vision (dream) of my Spiritual Father and it was August 26th 2021; even though I have been a spiritual daughter since 2015. Exactly 10 years after the bomb blast, like my mentor says, “Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous”.
Fast forward to 2014, on the 25th of June another bomb went off in Banex Plaza shopping complex, my mum and I were there two weeks prior to that to fix my iPad screen. According to the BBC these two attacks were caused by the same terrorist group and I am just here wondering, is the devil that scared of me being alive.
UN Clinics is not open to the general public and Banex Plaza is not a shopping complex you go to casually because of how busy it is, so just imagine the likelihood of someone going to the two locations weeks prior and escaping the two most known bomb attacks in Nigeria. I surely know the devil had other plans but I am still standing. These are only two examples, imagine how many more stories I have that can fill an encyclopaedia.
When people ask me how I know God exist, this is what I say “I believe God. Not because my parents told me to, not because a church told me to, but because I have experienced how awesome He is.” Jesus Christ is more than a big bang theory, He is a conviction.
I end with this scripture in 1 Corinthians 6: 19 & 20 {MSG version}, “Or didn’t you realize that your body is a sacred place, the place of the Holy Spirit? Don’t you see that you can’t live however you please, squandering what God paid such a high price for? The physical part of you is not some piece of property belonging to the spiritual part of you. God owns the whole works. So let people see God in and through your body.”
